Founded In 1992
A Church In Louisville For Over 25 Years
Forestpark is a church in Louisville, KY founded in late 1992 by Ronnie and Julie Caswell, along with a handful of other followers of Christ.
Forestpark was first a bible study in Ronnie & Julies apartment in the Lyndon area. Soon, the bible study grew and expanded to a hotel. After nearly a year, Forestpark moved into their own church building located in the Jtown area.
Since Then, We've Grown
Today, Forestpark is located off Watterson Trail in the Fern Creek area. Being a church in Louisville, Forestpark strives to serve the community and reach the city for Jesus Christ.
Forestpark is heavily involved in many different ministries across Kentuckiana, including FCA Motocross, JAM, the CMA, and more. We are also involved in a few ministries outside our nation’s borders, including a yearly mission trip to Central America.

Our Mission
We believe the church exists for the following four purposes:
Evangelism
We exist to reach lost and unchurched people.
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” -Mark 16:15
We look for opportunities to share Christ through relationships, meeting peoples needs and serving others in His name.

Equipping
We exist to make disciples.
It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. -Ephesians 4:11-13
We strive to establish people in the truth of God’s word and help them to discover and develop their spiritual gifts. We believe that every Christian has been called and equipped to serve the Lord’s church through a variety of means.

Extension
We exist to advance the Kingdom of God.
You, my brothers, were called to be free, But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature, rather, serve one another in love. The entire law is summed up in a single command: Love your neighbor as yourself. -Galatians 5:13-14
By demonstrating Christ’s love in a hurting world, our goal is to impact our community and neighbors in ways that will honor Christ.

Exaltation
We exist to glorify God.
I will extol the LORD at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. My soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let us exalt his name together. -Psalm 34:1-3
We provide opportunity to worship the Lord through music and the arts that is both celebrative and reflective.
